The Kenya National U17 football team will kick off her quest for a place in the 2019 Africa U17 Cup of Nations with a match against South Sudan slated for Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at the Chamazi Stadium in Tanzania starting 2 pm.

Kenya has been pooled in Group B and will also be up against Uganda, Ethiopia, and Djibouti, with the top two teams set to qualify for the semifinals.

The winner of the tournament will gain qualification to the 2019 Africa U17 Cup of Nations in Tanzania alongside the hosts who qualify automatically. The second best team could also make it to the tourney in case Tanzania emerges champions.
