2018 SportPesa Premier League champions Gor Mahia had a feel of the field of play on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, ahead of their CAF Champions League preliminary round match against Malawian side Nyasa Big Bullets.
This as coach Zedekiah Otieno noted that the team was focused on starting off their 2019 campaign on a high.
“We are prepared. As professionals, the players also know what is expected of them. It is important that we get a win when we play at home and that is what we are working on,” said coach Zedekiah Otieno.
The team’s eight new acquisitions took part in their final training session ahead of the match, with captain Harun Shakava noting that the players are in high spirits.
“We have had a good pre-season and the players are ready. We will give a good account of ourselves and hopefully we’ll pick up a positive result,” said captain Harun Shakava.
Their opponents, Nyasa Big Bullets, are set to have a feel of the field of play on Tuesday at 7 pm ahead of the match, slated for Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at the MISC Kasarani, starting 7 pm.
