CAF inspection team in town for final inspection visit

A CAF delegation is in town for the third and final inspection ahead of the CHAN 2018 tournament scheduled to be hosted in Kenya in January 2018

The delegation will today meet the Ministry of Sports, Culture and Arts Cabinet Secretary Dr. Hassan Wario at MOSCA offices between 9 am and 12 am. They will then head to Nyayo Stadium for inspection in the afternoon

Kinoru Stadium, Kasarani

On Wednesday, the team will fly out to Meru via the Isiolo Airport. The delegation will meet Meru Governor mid morning and thereafter an inspection of the Kinoru Stadium, before flying back to Nairobi. Thursday will see the delegation meet Nairobi Governor before an inspection of Kasarani Stadium. The delegation will thereafter do an inspection of hotels set to host CHAN teams in the afternoon

On Friday the delegation will visit Eldoret, where they are set to pay a courtesy call to Uasin Gishu Governor, before an inspection of the Kipchoge Keino Stadium. The team will further tour Iten in the afternoon and fly back to Nairobi later in the day

The delegation will on the final day, Saturday, hold a joint meeting with the Football Kenya Federation and the Ministry of Sports, before meeting Deputy President William Ruto. A final press conference will be done later in the day to disclose the outcome of the inspection
