Harambee Stars is through to the final of the 2017 CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup after a 1-0 win over Burundi in the first semifinal played on Thursday, December 14, 2017, at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu.

Whyvonne Isuzza scored the lone goal in the first half of extra time to see Kenya through to the final, set to be played on Sunday, December 17, 2017, at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

Burundi created numerous chances in the first half but failed to find a way past a resolute Harambee Stars defence that is yet to concede a goal.

Kenya would, however, grow into the match coming into the second half, but neither side was willing to let their rearguard slip.

The goal finally came in extra time through Whyvonne Isuzza after he was set up by second-half substitute Samuel Onyango.

With one foot into the final, Harambee Stars kept yet another clean sheet to set up a final date with the winner of the second semifinal pitting Uganda against Zanzibar
