All set for the 2017 CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup

    The 2017 edition of the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup is set to kick off on November 25, 2017, with the final slated for December 9, 2017, in Kenya.

    The tournament will be graced by 12 nations, 10 East African countries and two guest nations, Zimbabwe and Libya. Djibouti and Eritrea will not feature in this year’s edition.

    Four venues, Afraha Stadium in Nakuru; Moi Stadium in Kisumu and Mumias Sports Complex and Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega are set to host the showpiece.

    MISC Kasarani Stadium and Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos have been reserved as alternative venues in case of bad weather.
