Harambee Starlets edged out Rwanda 2-0 in their final match of the 2018 CECAFA Women Championships played on Friday, July 27, 2018, at the Stade Regional Nyamirambo.

Mercy Achieng and Terry Engesha were on target for the Starlets, who consequently finish fourth in the five-nation tournament with four points from four matches.

Starlets had earlier on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, lost to Ethiopia, who finished third with six points, with Tanzania defending the title after raking in seven points, similar to second-placed Uganda, but with a superior goal difference.

The team is set to jet back on Saturday, July 28, 2018, with focus now shifting to the FKF Women Premier League.
