This comes ahead of their second friendly game against Gimnastic de Tarragona set for tomorrow, Monday as part of their ten-day tour and training in Spain.

The 32 boys and girls left Nairobi on 6th May 2019 and have been conducting their football training at Futbol Salou grounds located in Cambrils under the watchful eyes La Liga certified coaches; Ismael Rodriguez, Jose Ruiz, Luis Vincente Mateo and Oliver Dodd who is the La Liga representative to Kenya.

I am going back home motivated with more skills and stories to share with my teammates,” said Miriam Lutomia, All-Stars player from Barcelona Ladies of Laikipia.

The team will tomorrow play their second friendly match against Gimnastic de Tarragona which plays in the second division of the Spanish La Liga tournament before resuming their daily trainings.

“The boys and girls have been going through a lot of key learnings since arrivals which are truly transformational. This is what we are passionate about as a company. They still have more days left and we hope they will utilize them to learn as much. We continue to wish them the very best and hope they take the lessons back home and share with their colleagues,” said Sylvia Mulinge, Chief Customer Officer, Safaricom.
