    Tartar Girls thumped Iten Ladies 7-1 in a Rift Valley region Chapa Dimba na Safaricom final match played at the Narok Stadium on Sunday 12th November.

    Nafula Elizabeth scored a hattrick for Tartar, Sylvia Baraza grabbed a brace while Faith Babu scored a beautiful volley towards the end of the match to ensure Tartar end it in style. Iten Ladies’ consolation goal was scored by Brenda Nanjala.

    The win earns Tartar Ksh 200,000 and sends them to the National finals set to be played in Nairobi in March 2018 while Iten Ladies go back home with Ksh 100,000.

    Tartar midfielder Mercy Njeri was named the best player in the region; her teammate Lilian Adhiambo was named the best goalkeeper while Elizabeth Nanjala emerged as the top scorer with 7 goals. They were all awarded Ksh 30,000 from tournament sponsors Safaricom.
