Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has extended the deadline for submission of added documents for Kenyan Premier League (KPL) clubs search for club licensing to Friday 23 December 2016 at noon.
Clubs had been given up to Friday 16 December to submit the same but a National executive meeting approved the extension to hand clubs more time to comply.
“All clubs participating in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) in the 2017 season that did not meet the basic criteria to be rewarded a license will be given an additional period to submit documents in support of their license application. This extended period will end at 12.00am noon on Friday the 23rd of December 206. All documents are to be submitted to the FKF Secretariat. After this period no more documents will be accepted and all clubs that will not have met the criteria to be awarded a license will be relegated to the NSL.”
“The period for submission of supporting documents for clubs participating in the National Super League (NSL) has been extended to the 31st of January 2017 due to the possibility of clubs that fail to meet the licensing criteria being relegated from the KPL. Clubs that had not submitted any documents by the earlier deadline of 16th December 2016 will not be allowed to submit the documents,” said FKF CEO Robert Muthomi
In the meantime, and in relation to the above, FKF President Nick Mwendwa will address a press conference on Thursday 22 December at the Panafric Hotel from 10 am.
