COSAFA: Harambee Starlets fall to Zimbabwe in semis

    Harambee Starlets suffered a 4-0 loss at the hands of hosts Zimbabwe in the second semifinal of the COSAFA Women Championships played on September 21, 2017, at the Barbourfields Stadium in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe

    A goal by Rutendo Makore in the 10th minute and a second Barita Kabwe at the stroke of halftime gave the hosts a 2-0 halftime lead. Marjory Nyaumwe and Privilege Mupeti would then score two more after the restart to put the game beyond Starlets reach

    Starlets will face Zambia in the third-place playoff on Saturday, September 21, 2017. Zambia lost to South Africa in the other semifinal
