    The National Women Football team, Harambee Starlets, edged out Swaziland 1-0 to book a semi-final date with Zimbabwe in  the final Group B match of the 2017 COSAFA Women Championships played today, September 18, 2017, in Zimbabwe

    Mercy Achieng, who had earlier been denied by the woodwork, dinked over the onrushing Swaziland goalkeeper to ensure a 100% record for Kenya in the group stages. The Starlets have won all the three group B matches, scoring 17 goals and conceding only twice

    Kenya will be up against hosts Zimbabwe in the second semi-final match slated for Thursday, September 21, 2017, with the winner of the match set to face the winner of the other semifinal pitting South Africa against Zambia
