Football Kenya Federation president Nick Mwendwa has today met a section of football representatives from Western and Nyanza regions in a series of meetings scheduled to discuss a return to football formula.

The meetings also served to update the members on the just-published FIFA 2020 Covid-19 protocol, to be implemented when football finally resumes.

“This pandemic has greatly affected football, and thus we thought it wise to meet the president so that we can see how best to prepare for the return of football,” said Vihiga County’s Kevin Elegwa.

Football still stands suspended since March this year, and the recommendations from the members, coupled with directives from the Ministry of Health, will be incorporated in the final return to football formula.
