Football Kenya Federation President Nick Mwendwa has expressed gratitude to the fans who turned out in large numbers to rally behind Harambee Stars in their Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier against Ghana.

This as he urged them to replicate the turnout when Kenya takes on Malawi in an international friendly match slated for Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at the MISC Kasarani starting at 3 pm.

“I want to thank all those who turned up for the match. The atmosphere was crucial for us to pick up maximum points,” said the FKF President.

Kenya dug out a 1-0 win over the West African country despite playing for the better part of the second half with a one-man handicap after defender Joash Onyango was shown red. The atmosphere at the stadium spurred the Stars to hold on for a crucial win.
