Gor Mahia coach Dylan Kerr has expressed confidence in his charges ahead of the team’s second CAF Confederations Cup Group D match against USM Alger.

The coach, who will be without dependable forward Meddie Kagere through suspension, further called on fans to turn out in large numbers.

“I believe in my players. They badly need this and we badly need it as well, and the same applies to all fans. We shall be going for a win, and we hope to get the necessary support,” said coach Kerr in a pre-match press conference at FKF House, Goal Project.

USM Alger had a feel of the field of play on Tuesday ahead of Wednesday’s match against Gor Mahia

The match is scheduled to be played on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at the at the MISC Kasarani, starting 7 pm.

Earlier on Sunday, May 6, 2018, Rayon Sports had held Gor Mahia to a 1-1 draw in the first Group D match played at the Nyamirambo Stadium in Kigali, Rwanda.
