The National Women Football team, Harambee Starlets, has on Monday, July 16, 2018, held its final training session ahead of the 2018 CECAFA Women Championships set to be held in Rwanda between July 19, and July 27, 2018.

The team is set to depart to Rwanda on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, ahead of the five-nation tourney which shall be played in a round-robin format.

Coach David Ouma has expressed satisfaction in the team’s preparations, noting that his charges are fired up for the task.

“We have had sufficient preparations. The players are psyched up and I am confident that we will post positive results,” said Coach Ouma.

“Carolyne Anyango and Cynthia Shilwatso got knocks in training but we are hopeful that they will recover in time for the first match against Uganda,” added the coach.
