The National Women football team, Harambee Starlets, went down 3-1 to the National U15 football team in a build-up friendly match played at the Utalii Grounds on Saturday, November 3, 2018.

A brace by Mathew Mwendwa, coupled with a goal by Keith Imbali saw the junior team emerge victors. Mary Kinuthia netted the Starlets consolation.

The match was the Starlets second friendly ahead of the upcoming Africa Women Cup of Nations set to be played between November 17 and December 1, 2018, in Ghana.

Two more friendly matches against Ghana and Uganda have also been lined up before the team jets out to the West African Country on November 14, 2018, in time for the continental showpiece
