Stars friendlies moved to Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos

    The two international friendly matches pitting Kenya’s Harambee Stars against Uganda and DRC Congo have been moved from Kasarani Stadium to Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos. The move has been necessitated by ongoing renovations at both Nyayo and Kasarani Stadiums.

    The team was scheduled to camp at the Kasarani Stadium ahead of the two fixtures, slated for Thursday, March 23 and Sunday, March 26, 2017, but will now camp in Machakos.

    The Stanley Okumbi Coached side will take on Uganda on Thursday before playing DRC On Sunday. Tickets for the matches will be sold at the venue, on match day and will go for Ksh 100 terrace and Ksh 300 VIP. Both matches will kick off at 3 pm Kenyan time with gates opening at 11 am.

    Uganda and DRC Congo are expected in the country on Monday, March 20, 2017.
