Gor Mahia coach Hassan Oktay has called on fans to turn up and rally behind K’ogallo as they face Algerian side NA Hussein Dey in their third CAF Confederations Cup Group D match.

This as the team had a feel of the field of play on Saturday morning ahead of the match, set to be played on Sunday, February 24, 2019, at the MISC Kasarani starting 4 pm.

“We have to take the home advantage. We are going to play one of the best teams and it is going to be a tough game.  My expectation is that the fans will come out in large numbers from all over Kenya and support the boys,” said coach Oktay.

The coach also noted that there are no major injury concerns and that the boys are upbeat and raring to go.

“We only have one injury concern. Joash was injured in midweek against Western Stima and will not be available on Sunday. The rest of the squad is, however, up to the task, and I am confident that we will get positive results,” he said.

Gor Mahia will hope to make amends after losing 2-1 to Petro Atletico in their second Group D match, despite dominating possession.

The SportPesa Premier League defending champions are second in the group, with their Sunday opponents, NA Hussein Dey, leading, with four points from two matches.
