    The Kenya U-20 football team was narrowly edged out by Egypt U-20 in a friendly match played on Monday 20th February in Egypt.


    Goals by Karim Nedved, Ahmed Hamdy, and Mostafa Mohammed gave the Egyptians a 3-0 halftime lead. The visitors, however, staged a comeback that saw Ovella Ochieng score two goals, the match ending 3-2.

    This is the third friendly match the team has played in a fortnight. The team had earlier played a two-legged friendly with the Senegal U-20 team on Friday 10th and Sunday 12th. The matches ended in 2-0 and 4-0 scorelines, both in favor of the hosts
