The Kenya U17 team held its first training session on Thursday, April 4, 2019, in Egypt ahead of the upcoming Union of North African Federations (UNAF) U18 Tournament, set to kick off on Saturday.

This follows the team’s arrival in Alexandria, Egypt, on Thursday morning, following a six-hour flight from Nairobi to Cairo through Addis Ababa, and a three-hour bus drive to Alexandria from Cairo.

Coach Michael Amenga led a light recovery training session, noting that the players had settled and were upbeat ahead of the match.

“We will be coming up against one of the best countries in Africa. Of course, it will not be easy but the boys are well prepared and motivated and I am confident that they will give a good account of themselves,” said coach Amenga.
