Masud on target as Mauritania holds Stars in friendly

    The National Football team, Harambee Stars, was held to a 1-1 draw by Mauritania in a friendly match played today, August 31, 2017, in Morocco

    Masud Juma put Harambee Stars on the front foot with a heder in the 58th minute. Stars were however pegged back by an equalizer from the spot with seven minutes to play

    The friendly match saw Kenya exclusively feature local based players as a buildup to the upcoming African Nations Championships to be held in the country January next year.

    Up next for the team is a friendly match against the hosts, Morocco, on September 4, 2017
