A delegation from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation has today, Wednesday, April 18, 2018, presented the Morocco 2026 FIFA World Cup bid book to FKF President Nick Mwendwa at FKF House, Goal Project.

The presentation was graced by former Nigerian international Daniel Amokachi, who was upbeat of the North African country’s abilities to host the tourney.

FKF President Nick Mwendwa asserted Kenya’s support to Morocco while noting the latter’s investment in sports facilities.

“We are fully behind Morocco’s bid for the 2026 World Cup. A win for Morocco is a win for Africa,” said Mr. Mwendwa.

The North African country successfully hosted the 2018 Africa Nations Championships (CHAN) early this year, edging out Nigeria 4-0 in the final.
