Bidco United made clear their intentions of gaining promotion to the top tier Kenyan Premier League when they edged past Migori Youth 2-1 at the Thika Stadium on Sunday, January 19, 2020.

The win, Bidco’s 13th out of 20 matches, kept them within touching distance of runaway leaders Nairobi City Stars, who have commanded a seven-point lead as at round 20. The Thika based side is six points clear of third-placed Vihiga United, who fell to FC Talanta on Sunday.

Earlier on Saturday, City Stars stumped their authority with a routine 2-0 win over Vihiga Bullets, to take their tally to 40 points.

Fourth-placed Nairobi Stima missed a chance to go second when they surrendered a 2-0 advantage to draw 2-2 with Kenya Police on Saturday while fifth-placed Ushuru kept their hopes alive with a 3-2 win over APS Bomet.
