Palos went top of the National Super League (NSL) after beating Wazito 2-1 in the highlight game on Sunday 19 March at Camp Toyoyo. Morven Otinya scored in the 33rd and 44th minute to win it for Palos as Paul Karuri (78) scored Wazito’s consolation.

In the preceding game, Kenya Police beat Kibera Black Stars 2-1 for their first win of the season. Kevin Omondi scored twice for Police as Tony Baraza snatched a consolation for the Black Stars. Both games were live by free to air channel Bamba Sports.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, Ushuru beat Isibania 2-0 in Awendo with goals from Lwamba Bebeto Mulondwa (24) and Victor Ochieng (65). Mombasa based Modern Coast Rangers hit Mosca 2-0 at Mbaraki with goals from Francis Ochola (20) and Mike Muya (60). New entrants GFE 105 also beat Nairobi City Stars 2-1 at the Kipchoge Keino Stadium, Eldoret. Wakoli Zeka (43) and Elvis Okusi (85) scored for GFE with Edwin Nduati (67) getting a consolation for the visitors.

In two other games on Sunday, Talanta held Agro Chemicals 0-0 in Chemelil as Nairobi Stima beat Bidco United 2-1 at the Cray Fish Stadium in Naivasha. Vincent Ochami and Ivan Anguyo scored for Stima as Edwin Walumoli got one for Bidco.
