Green Commandos got back to winning ways when they beat FC Talanta 1-2 in an FKF National Super League match played on Friday, July 6, 2018, at Camp Toyoyo.

Evans Okinyi put Commandos on the front foot in the 8th minute from the spot, a goal that was canceled out by Brian Okeyo at the stroke of halftime.

Okinyi would notch his brace with two minutes left on the clock to see the Kakamega based side win for the first time in three matches, consequently avenging a 1-3 loss in the first leg fixture between the two sides.

Meanwhile, at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru, Kibera Black Stars held hosts Nakuru All-Stars to a 1-1 draw. Charles Ouma had put the hosts ahead in the 77th minute only to be pegged back almost immediately by Henry Onyango, who has so far scored nine goals in the NSL.

GFE 105 was also held to a barren draw by Kisumu All-Stars in another match played at the Sudi Stadium in Bungoma.

Five more matches will be played on Saturday, July 7, 2018, with the highlight being a doubleheader at Camp Toyoyo set to be aired LIVE on Bamba Sports.
