Newly promoted Green Commandos will make a maiden appearance at Camp Toyoyo when they face Ushuru in an FKF National Super League match scheduled for Sunday, March 11, 2018, starting 3.15 pm.

The Kakamega based side has dropped points in each of their first four opening matches and will be up against an experienced Ushuru side that only missed out on promotion at the final hurdle last season.

Ushuru has however been a pale shadow of herself this season, having won only once in five matches. The Ken Kenyatta coached side needed a late penalty in their last match against Nairobi City Stars to salvage a point.

Western Stima

Meanwhile, at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu, hosts Western Stima will face St Joseph Youth with a view of bouncing back from a 3-1 loss to Kibera Black Stars in midweek.

The Powermen are ranked second on the log, three points behind Black Stars. St Joseph Youth’s last trip to Kisumu saw them hold hosts Kisumu All-Stars to a barren stalemate.

In other matches set to be played on Sunday, FC Talanta will host Kisumu All-Stars at Camp Toyoyo starting 1 pm, while at the Afraha Stadium, struggling Nakuru All-Stars will be up against Bidco United. Isibania will also play host to Nairobi City Stars at the Awendo Green Stadium.

Kibera Black Stars

Three matches are set to close round-six action on Monday, March 12, 2018, with the highlight being a clash between promotion contenders KCB and league leaders Kibera Black Stars. The match will be played at Camp Toyoyo starting 11 am.

The Bankers are ranked 10th on the log with seven points, having won twice, lost once and shared the spoils once in their opening four fixtures.

Black Stars, flaunting early dominance after four wins and a draw in their opening five fixtures, will be hoping to replicate an exquisite performance against Western Stima in midweek that saw them dispatch the former KPL side 3-1.

Later on, at 2 pm at the same venue, Administration Police will host GFE 105 starting 3 pm.

Having collected their first point of the season in a 3-3 draw against St Joseph Youth in midweek, the law enforcers will be looking to get back on track. Lukewarm GFE 105, meanwhile, will hope to build upon a 1-0 win over Nakuru All-Stars in their last match.
