Nine FKF National Super League matches have been scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday 31 May 2017, to usher in the mid-season transfer window. The league will take a six-week recess after match week 16

Vihiga United, Nairobi Stima, and Wazito will be hoping to get maximum points that could get them top of the table while MOSCA will be in search of their first win of the season against a formidable Vihiga United side

MOSCA vs Vihiga United

Three matches will be played at Camp Toyoyo. First on the cards will be a clash between basement club MOSCA and league leaders Vihiga United at 12 pm. The last two matches Vihiga has played ended in barren draws and the Vihiga County sponsored side will be looking to get back to winning ways. MOSCA, meanwhile, has had a troubled season, and a loss could compound their woes even further

The second match at the same venue will pit Nairobi City Stars against Ushuru, two sides that were relegated from the Premier League last season. The match will kick off at 2 pm. City Stars, ranked 10th on the log, will be in search of their fifth win of the season. Ushuru, on the other hand, will hope to bounce back from their shock 2-1 loss to Talanta on Saturday 27 May. Later on, at 4 pm, Kibera Black Stars will play host to St Joseph Youth. Black Stars lost 1-0 to Nairobi Stima in their last match and will be looking to dust themselves up. St Joseph Youth meanwhile, will be looking to get further away from the relegation places after their 1-1 draw with Nakuru All Stars last time out

Kenya Police

At the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru, Nakuru All Stars will welcome 11th placed Modern Coast Rangers at 1 pm. The latter edged out Agro Chemicals in their last match and will hope to build on their impressive performance. All Stars will be in search of their seventh win of the season that will help them close in on fifth-placed KCB. Later on, at 3 pm, Police will face an on-form Nairobi Stima that is unbeaten in 12 games. Police have only managed four wins this season, three at home. The law enforcers are ranked 13th on the log with 14 points. Nairobi Stima could go top of the table if they manage three points and Vihiga United fail to find a way past MOSCA

KCB will be up against Isibania at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos at 3 pm. KCB has had mixed results this season but managed a 1-0 win over Administration Police in their last match. The win took the Bankers level on points with Ushuru, but with an inferior goal difference. Isibania, on the other hand, was held to a 2-2 draw by Police and will be hoping for a positive result on the road

Agro Chemicals

At the Chemelil Sports Complex, Agro Chemicals will welcome third placed Wazito. The latter has a chance to go top if they manage all three points and Vihiga United and Nairobi Stima fail to win. Agro will not be pushovers, however, despite their low 16 place ranking on the log. The Awasi based side has not won a game at home this season and will hope that the match against Wazito will be the first

Palos will be taking on Bidco United at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu. Bidco has struggled this season, managing only seven points out of 15 games. The Thika-based side will, however, look to build on a point earned against Nairobi City Stars to turn their season around. Palos managed a point on the road against Vihiga United and will be going all out for a win that could lift them to sixth if Nakuru All Stars fail to win

At the Thika sub-county Stadium, Talanta will host Administration Police. Talanta edged out league favorites Ushuru 2-1 at Camp Toyoyo in their last match, a result that lifted them to 12th, level on points with 10th placed Nairobi City Stars and 11th placed Modern Coast Rangers. A win could lift them into the top 10. AP lost 1-0 to KCB in their last match, their fifth loss in a row, and will hope to make amends against Talanta.

Wazito, Nairobi Stima will be fighting for a chance to go top. MOSCA will be in search of their first win while Ushuru will be looking to close in on the top three. The league will take a break until 15th July after tomorrow’s match week 16 matches
