FC Talanta dispatched visiting Modern Coast Rangers 2-1 in the first of an FKF National Super League midweek doubleheader played on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at Camp Toyoyo.

Two goals in three minutes just after the hour mark by Shem Odinga and Abdul Wahab put Talanta on course for a third win in a row. Roosevelt Blaty would pull one back for the guests in stoppage time.

The Communications Authority sponsored side has since risen to ninth with 40 points from 30 matches.

Kibera Black Stars, meanwhile, bounced back from a three-match losing streak to edge out Green Commandos 2-1.

Julias Masaba and Nicodemus Onyango were on target for the guests with Castro Likhanga’s equalizer serving as a mere consolation.

Nine more matches will be played on Saturday, September 15, and Sunday, September 16, 2018, as the league enters round 33. Two of them will be aired LIVE on Bamba Sports from Camp Toyoyo.
