Ushuru suffered a setback in their quest for a place in the 2019 top flight league following a 2-0 loss to FC Talanta in the final FKF National Super League round 28 match played on Monday, August 20, 2018, at Camp Toyoyo.

Emmanuel Mogaka and Rodgers Omondi were on target for Talanta, a result that sees Ushuru drop to third, three points behind league leaders Western Stima.

Nairobi Stima, meanwhile, moved to second on the log following a 3-0 win over Isibania in Awendo. The Powermen trail Western Stima by three points but with a game in hand.

St Joseph Youth also pulled an upset on Sunday, edging out Nairobi City Stars 4-0 at Camp Toyoyo.
