A decision by Football Kenya Federation has seen Thika Queens awarded all three points from an abandoned FKF Women Premier League match against Oserian Ladies.

This is following the latter’s walkout of the match played on Sunday, 22nd April 2018 at the Thika Stadium.

“It’s indicated in both the center referee’s and the match commissioner’s reports that the match was abandoned in the 78th minute after a penalty was awarded to the host team, Thika Queens FC, a decision that your team contested,” read a statement from FKF, signed by General Secretary/CEO Robert Muthomi.

“From the reports, your technical bench led by the assistant coach and the head coach stormed the field of play and harassed the centre referee causing match stoppage,”

“In accordance with Rule 3.4b of the Rules of Kenyan Football, a club will forfeit any match which was abandoned because of the misconduct of their members or supporters, we hereby wish to inform you that your club has forfeited the said match and the same has been awarded to Thika Queens FC on a 2-0 score, 3 points basis,” concluded the letter, sent to Oserian Ladies.
