On 19th June 2019, the referees committee together with instructors and referees did a closing ceremony at the Gusii Stadium. The ceremony began with an opening speech from the Referees Manager, Mr. Sylvester Kirwa.
The referees across all divisions undertook intense training and practicals for 3 days. On the final day, they did an exam for the purpose of evaluation and to know their placements in the divisions.
The referees will also have another fitness check in August in preparation for the upcoming season said Mr. Kirwa.
The ceremony was officialy closed by the Chairman of National Referees Mr. Joseph Adere, he urged the referees to use the skill sets they have learned in to good use.
