KCB and Kariobangi Sharks both booked places in the semifinals of the SportPesa Shield following wins over Bidco United and Bungoma Superstars in the quarterfinals played on Sunday, April 21, 2019, at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

This comes a day after Bandari and SS Assad also booked places in the semis with wins over Western Stima and Congo Boys respectively in the quarters played on Saturday at the Mbaraki Sports Club.

A goal apiece by Michael Kibwage, Bolton Omwenga, Victor Omondi, and Kennedy Owino saw KCB stroll to a 4-1 win. Dinken Mwema scored Bidco United’s consolation.
