The Kenya Women’s National team, Harambee Starlets, is in camp as from Friday 2 September 2016 in preparation for the upcoming CECAFA Women’s challenge Cup to be held in Uganda from Sunday 11 September.
Head Coach David Ouma has called up 28 players to the camp. Nyakach girls custodian Lilian Awuor and Makolanders defender Jackeline Akoth are the latest inclusions to the squad.
The tourney to be played at the Njeru Technical College in Jinja Uganda has attracted seven teams. Kenya has ben drawn in pool A with hosts Uganda, Zanzibar, and Burundi. Group B is made up of Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Rwanda.
