The FKF Women Premier League got back underway on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, after a four-week break with a match pitting Vihiga Queens against Wadadia at the Mumias Sports Complex.

Vihiga Queens ran out 7-1 winners over Wadadia, courtesy of five goals by Phoebe Owiti and a brace by Harambee Starlets forward Teresa Engesha. Ruth Kurgat scored Wadadia’s consolation.

Ten more matches are set to be played between Saturday, June 16, 2018, and Monday, June 18, 2018, across different venues.

League leaders will hope to keep their lead intact when they face Soccer Queens at the Gikambura Grounds while second-placed Vihiga Queens will also be in action on Sunday against Kayole Starlet at the Mumias Sports Complex.
