Vihiga United, KCB set for midweek NSL action

Vihiga United and KCB will be in action today in rescheduled NSL matches. The two had been pushed forward pending a decision by the Sports Disputes Tribunal on the composition of the second tier league.

Vihiga United will be away to newbies Isebania in Awendo. Vihiga lost 1-2 to GFE 105 in their last match at the Mumias Sports Complex. The team had earlier won their first two matches; a 2-0 win over Wazito and a 1-0 home win over Modern Coast Rangers. KCB, on the other hand, will be traveling to Eldoret to take on GFE 105. The latter is top of the log having won all her first four matches, while KCB has won one and drawn one of the two matches played.

Matchday 6 Results

Four matches were played on Monday. Modern Coast Rangers pulled an upset, beating Ushuru 1-3 on the road. Bidco United dished out a walkover to Wazito FC, the latter being awarded three points and two goals. Palos were held at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu by Nakuru All Stars while MOSCA scored late on to snatch a point in their match against Agro Chemicals.
