Only a point separates fourth placed Ushuru and FKF National Super league leaders Vihiga United, with all the top four teams scheduled to be in action tomorrow, July 15, 2017, and Sunday, July 16. A chance to go top of the log is at stake

League Leaders Vihiga United will host a resurgent Bidco United at the Mumias Sports Complex on Sunday, while second placed Wazito will entertain Kibera Black Stars at Camp Toyoyo on the same day. Nairobi Stima will also face Talanta on Sunday while Ushuru will be on the road to face a down and out MOSCA at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos

Vihiga United will bank on experience when they take on Bidco United in Mumias. The Vihiga County sponsored side snapped up veteran Charles Okwemba from Sofapaka, Keiphas Mutuu from Kakamega Homeboyz and budding Soita Silicho from Strathmore FC, among others, in their bid for promotion. They will come up against a Bidco United side that recruited heavily in their bid to avoid the chop. Bidco has won two games in the space of four days, 2-0 against Rainforest in the GoTV Shield and 1-0 against MOSCA on Wednesday 12 July.  Vihiga’s last match was a win on post-match penalties over Ushuru after a stalemate in normal time

Wazito will also be hoping to reclaim top spot when they face league debutants Kibera Black Stars at Camp Toyoyo on Sunday. Wazito is fresh from a 3-0 win over KCB in Machakos on Wednesday, 12 July, and will be looking to carry that form to their next match. Kibera Black Stars, meanwhile, got a valuable point away to Modern Coast Rangers in midweek and will be no pushovers

Also in pursuit of the top seat is third placed Nairobi Stima, who will be up against a wounded FC Talanta on Sunday at Camp Toyoyo. FC Talanta lost to Isibania in their last match and will be hoping to get back on track. Nairobi Stima, meanwhile, will be out to prove their worth among the top four, having been seen as gatecrashers. Stima is tied on points with leaders Vihiga and second placed Wazito but has an inferior goal difference

Meanwhile, fourth placed Ushuru will be up to keep the pressure on the leading pack when they face a jaded MOSCA at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos. Ushuru went for experience in the mid-season transfer window. New signings Moses Odhiambo and Bill Oporia were on song for the taxmen in their match against Palos in midweek, with Odhiambo providing two assists while Bill scored a brace. MOSCA, on the other hand, look down and out, having been in the basement for the better part of the season with no win to their name

In other matches, KCB will face St Joseph Youth while Palos will be up against Administration Police. Nairobi City Stars will face Isibania at th Ruaraka grounds while Modern Coast Rangers will be on the road to take on Kenya Police at the Narok Stadium Nakuru All Stars will also be in action against GFE 105 at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru
