KCB edged out Bidco United as Wazito felled Modern Coast Rangers in FKF National Super League matches played on Sunday, October 15, 2017

KCB went all out for a win and deservedly went ahead via a Simon Abuko strike at the stroke of halftime. Abuko would then double the Bankers advantage in the 50th minute, from the spot. The win maintains KCB’s position at the top of the log with 67 points

Modern Coast Rangers

Later on at 2 pm, Wazito edged out Modern Coast Rangers 2-1. Zachary Gathu put Wazito ahead in the ninth minute before Pistone Mutamba nodded in from close range from a set piece by Wazito. The hosts turned defensive in the second half allowing Modern Coast a mere consolation in the 75th minute

Vihiga United also edged out FC Talanta 1-0 in the succeeding match played at 4 pm. Talanta controlled proceedings for the better part of the match and would seamlessly soak in occasional pressure from the guests, but eventually fell to an 80th-minute goal from the spot by Patrick Okullo. The win keeps Vihiga in contention for promotion, only four points adrift of league leaders KCB

Ushuru also dispatched Kenya Police 0-2 at the Karuturi Grounds in Naivasha. Andrew Murunga and Oscar Mbugua were on the scoresheet for Ushuru

Nairobi Stima

Nairobi Stima dropped two points on the road against Agro Chemical to derail their promotion push. The Powermen are now fifth with 58 points, nine adrift of league leaders KCB. Agro, meanwhile, is still 18th with 27 points from 30 matches

At the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru, Isibania edged out Nakuru All-Stars 2-1 while in Eldoret, GFE 105 dispatched St Joseph Youth1-0. Zeka Wakoli scored the lone goal for GFE in the 7th minute

Two matches were played at the Hope Center grounds in Nairobi. Kibera Black Stars edged out Administration Police 2-1 in the first match played at 1 pm. Henry Onyango gave Kibera a 15th-minute lead before Robert Jagero restored parity in the 54th minute. Tony Baraza would confirm victory for Black Stars in the 83rd minute, the match ending 2-1.

In the second match played at the 3 pm, Nairobi City Stars edged out MOSCA 1-0 courtesy of a goal by Davies Agesa two minutes to time
