Gaspo Youth rose to second on the FKF Women Premier League standings following a 4-0 win over Kisumu All Starlets in one of two matches played on Saturday, May 4, 2019.

Wincate Kaari found the back of the net thrice, in the 16th, 61st and 68th minutes, to put the Kiambu based side in a comfortable position. Corazone Aquino would then make the points even safer with the fourth goal in the 89th minute.

The win takes Gaspo to second with 30 points, similar to league leaders Vihiga Queens, but with an inferior goal difference. Vihiga Queens have however played a match more than Gaspo.

Oserian Ladies, meanwhile, played out a 1-1 draw at home to Nyuki Starlets. Rebecca Akinyi was on target for Oserian while Lilian Mmboga scored Nyuki Starlets’ lone goal.

Six more matches have been lined up on Sunday, among them a doubleheader at the Stima Members Club starting 9 am.
