Thika Queens made clear their intentions of reclaiming the 2018 FKF Women Premier League when they dispatched Spedag 4-0 on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at the Barclays Sports Club Grounds.

Mercy Achieng, Mwanahalima Adam and Christine Kitaru were on target for the deposed Women Premier League champions, who consequently extend their point tally to 39 from 13 matches, having not dropped a single point this season.

Wendy Achieng had a chance to reduce the deficit late in the match but saw her penalty kick saved by the guests’ goalkeeper Monica Karambu.

12 more matches have been scheduled for this weekend across different venues.
