Trans Nzoia Falcons pulled to the top of the FKF Women Premier League following back to back wins over Kisumu All Starlets and Zetech Sparks over the weekend.

Falcons beat Kisumu All Starlets 2-1 at the Manour Agricultural Center on Saturday, courtesy of strikes by Susan Muhonja and Tumaini Nafula. Mercy Airo netted Starlets’ consolation.

The Kitale based side went on to run over Zetech Sparks 6-1 on Sunday. Tumaini Waliaula and Martha Amunyolete each netted hat tricks, with Alukwo Anyetu netting the guests’ consolation.

Eldoret Falcons and Thika Queens also managed wins over Wadadia and Makolanders respectively while Mathare United Women and Kayole Starlet played out a 1-1 draw at Camp Toyoyo.

Following these weekend’s matches, Trans Nzoia Falcons are 3 points clear of Vihiga United who at hand have a 2 game advantage.
