Spedag edged out Kayole Starlets 3-1 in the first of an FKF Women Premier League doubleheader staged at the Ruaraka Grounds on Saturday, April 21, 2018.

Elizabeth Ambogo, Wendy Achieng and Cheris Avilia were on target to see out the third win in seven matches for Spedag.

In the second match that kicked off at 3 pm at the same venue, Makolanders laboured to a 2-0 win over Oserian Ladies.

Naomi Njeri had given Makolanders a second-half lead that the hosts held onto until the second minute of added time when Purity Nyongesa ensured the scoreline was safe with a second for Makolanders.

Vihiga Queens, meanwhile, bounced back from a loss to Thika Queens in their last match to master two wins.

The defending champions ran over re-branded Kisumu All Starlets 0-7 at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu before notching a 1-0 win over Soccer Queens in their second match of the weekend.

The win sees Vihiga Queens rise to third with 18 points from 7 matches.

Baringo Starlets

At the Trans Nzoia Stadium in Kitale, Baringo Starlets’ search for their first point of the season continued with the guests going down 5-1 to Trans Nzoia Falcons.

Baringo Starlets has lost all of her opening 10 matches of her campaign.
