Harambee Starlets Coach David Ouma has made six additions to the team, ahead of a two-legged Africa Women Cup of Nations Qualifier against Uganda.
Goalkeepers Brenda Achieng (Gaspo Youth) and Monica Karambu (Thika Queens) as well as two defenders, Elizabeth Ambogo (Spedag) and Juliet Auma (Thika Queens) have been called up to the Starlets team, currently in camp in Machakos.
Also called up are forwards Mercy Airo (Nyakach Girls), who was part of the National U20 team last year, and Esse Akida (Spedag). Akida has been recalled after she missed the friendly match against Zambia due to an ankle injury.

The team overcame Zambia 3-0, away, in a friendly match played on Sunday, March 25, 2018. Up next is the AWCON qualifier against Uganda, slated for April 4, and 7, 2018 in Machakos and Uganda respectively.
Should Kenya dump Uganda out in the first round, only Equatorial Guinea will stand in the way of Starlets’ second appearance at the Africa Women Cup of Nations.
