KCB moved to within touching distance of league leaders Western Stima with a 1-0 win over Administration Police in a match played on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at Camp Toyoyo.
Simon Abuko scored the lone goal that saw the Bankers narrow the gap to only one point despite having played a match less than Stima.
The latter was held to a 0-0 draw by Kisumu All-Stars in a Lakeside Derby staged at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu. The draw saw Stima clock 24 points from 11 matches while Kisumu All Stars is sixth with 18 points from 10 matches.

Meanwhile, at the Karuturi Grounds in Naivasha, Kibera Black Stars suffered their biggest loss of the season when they went down 4-0 to hosts Nairobi Stima. Black Stars has consequently dropped to fourth with 20 points while Nairobi Stima rises to seventh with 16 points.
Coast Stima also managed a 2-1 win over St Joseph Youth while Kenya Police carried on their fine run, edging out struggling Nakuru All-Stars 2-0 at the Afraha Stadium.

Earlier on Saturday, Ushuru held hosts Modern Coast Rangers to a 1-1 draw at the Mbaraki Sports Club.
