Ligi Ndogo edged out Liberty Sports Academy 3-2 in one of seven FKF Division One League Zone B matches played over the weekend. Zone B, meanwhile, saw Shabana, Raiply, Kisumu Hot Stars and Bungoma Super Stars all record wins.
Mwatate United, who succumbed to a 2-1 win over AFC Leopards in the FKF SporPesa Shield in midweek, lost 1-0 at home to MOSCA. They have consequently lost footing in the race for promotion as they trail league leaders Fortune Sacco by six points.
