Western Stima edged out Nakuru All Stars 2-1 in one of two FKF National Super League matches played on Saturday, August 18, 2018, to maintain their place at the top.
Erastus Mwaniki was on target for Stima against his former side, with Kevin Okoth also getting his name on the scoresheet. Victor Oduor’s goal in stoppage time for the guests only served as a consolation.
In Awendo meanwhile, visiting Nairobi Stima brushed Isibania aside to move second, pending Monday’s match pitting Ushuru against FC Talanta. A goal by top Scorer Stephen Owusu, coupled with a brace by Victor Ndinya, was enough to do the job for the Powermen.
Two more matches will be played on Sunday, August 19, 2018, at Camp Toyoyo.
