Football Kenya Federation President Nick Mwendwa has assured fans of adequate security during Kenya’s Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier against Ethiopia on Sunday, October 14, 2018, at the MISC Kasarani starting at 4 pm.
This as he disclosed that gates will open at 9 am and close at 2 pm, 2 hours before kickoff while issuing a rallying call to fans to turn up in large numbers in support for the team.
“We have made arrangements for adequate security. Come along with your families and support the team,” said FKF President Nick Mwendwa.
“This is a crucial qualifier as a win for us will put us in pole position for a place in the 2019 AFCON,” he added.
Fans will gain free access to the stadium. They will nonetheless, be presented with a ticket upon entry, with an aim of ensuring that the stadium’s capacity regulations are observed.
The general public will access the stadium via gate 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and gate 11. Gate 4 and 5, meanwhile, will grant VIP’s and VVIP’s access to the stadium.
Homeboyz entertainment has also lined up ample entertainment by renowned artists starting at 11 am with Neema Hospital and Guru Nanak Hospitals providing emergency medical services to fans who may need the aforementioned.
The match is set to kick off at 4 pm.
