The Kenya U23 national team has jetted out to Mauritius ahead of the second leg of their Africa U23 Cup of Nations cum Olympics Qualifier.

This as coach Francis Kimanzi noted that their 5-0 first leg win is behind them and the team’s focus is to replicate Wednesday’s performance in the return match.

“It was important that we secured all three points at home. That is however behind us, and we are fully focused on getting another positive result on Sunday,” said coach Kimanzi.

The team is expected in Mauritius later on Friday ahead of the second leg, set to be played on Sunday November 18, 2018 at the Anjalay Stadium in Belle Vue, Mauritius, starting 2 pm EAT.

The winner on aggregate will face off with either of Sudan or Seychelles in the second round, with a third round, whose winner will grace the Africa U23 Cup of Nations, also be in line.

The best three sides from the U23 AFCON will feature in the 2020 Summer Olympics.
