A goal apiece by Brian Yakhama and Victor Ayugi saw Ushuru inflict the first loss of the season on Wazito in one of ten FKF National Super League matches played on Sunday, December 23, 2018.
Wazito had a myriad of missed chances in the first half: Derrick Onyango and David Orem the culprits, and were made to pay in the second half.
The Taxmen, who are yet to taste defeat this season, thus go top of the log with 13 points.
Hot on Ushuru’s heels is Shabana, who only trail The Taxmen courtesy of inferior goal deference.
Shabana managed a 2-0 win over Kibera Black Stars at Camp Toyoyo, their fourth win of the season.
Nairobi Stima also edged out Kenya Police 4-2 at Camp Toyoyo while at the Serani Sports Grounds in Mombasa, Modern Coast Rangers’ woes continued as they lost 2-0 to visiting FC Talanta.
