The roster for Eastern regional finals completed on Sunday 24 February 2019 after qualifying games completed as planned in Sololo, 70km off the town of Moyale.
The games that brought winners from Marsabit and Moyale sub branches saw Sakuu Queens from Marsabit see off Super Sportive Starlets from Moyale to return for a second successive Eastern regional final set for Kitui showground on 23-24 March, 2019.
In the boy’s final, Moyale’s Samba overcame Marasbit’s Barca in post-march penalties to qualify.
At the Meru showground, in games played on Saturday, Isiolo Young Stars extended Isiolo’s dominance of Meru teams by emerging top of a three-team pool that had Nkanda Boys and Meru Talents to book their ticket to Kitui.
Karugwa Queens from Meru Central also won a three-team pool that aslo had Marigi Girls from Meru North and Isiolo’s Thedama to return for a second successive Eastern regional final.
The latest qualified teams join Super Solico (boys) and St. Mary’s Ndovea (girls) from Southern branch, Triumph (boys) and Chuka Starlets (Girls) from Lower Eastern Branch, in the regional showpiece.
