The FKF Elite League entered its second day on Sunday, March 17, 2019, with Kariobangi Sharks U13 among the winners in matches played at the Marist Grounds.

Sharks beat Vapor Sports 1-0 courtesy of a 10th minute strike by Kelvin Wambua.

The league, a brainchild of the Federation’s Youth Committee, pits top academies in Nairobi against each other and is aimed at addressing the disparity in quality of academies taking part in the mainstream sub-branch youth leagues.

Among academies drafted into the league include Cheza Sports, Ligi Ndogo, Acakoro, and Vapor Sports, among others.
